Lafayette City Blessing is a church that is built around individual cells which are the foundations of the church as the body of Christ. Our small groups consist of people who, through friendship, meet together to live out the love of Our Lord Jesus Christ and also impart the vision and values of the church.

Through these individual cells we refer to as care groups, we hope to achieve several fundamental aspects that provides a strong foundation for a growing church.

Growth
We expect two kinds of growth; namely quantity growth and quality growth. These we achieve by reaching out to those who do not know God and by helping our existing members participate as a church. Each care group's aim is then to multiply into 2 more cells.

Community
In our care groups, we find a place where brothers and sisters in Christ care for one another's spiritual and material needs; where the life of the care group extends beyond the weekly meetings. It is also through these essential care groups, we worship God together and expect an encounter with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Discipleship
Through the care groups we want to see every member participate in the life and ministry of the church, growing personally in their relationship with God and being equipped and trained to serve God.

As the Lord continues to be faithful, the number of care groups continue to increase and so does the blessings. Find your place in God through one of our weekly care groups.
